Dating way back in time "La Nicchia" story is indissolubly linked with one of the world’s most ‘unique’ islands.
It was the year 1949 when Antonio Bonomo and Girolamo Giglio set up their business in Pantelleria. Sixty years later, their firm is currently the only company in Pantelleria that is a Farm Holding, a Caper Producer as well as a Traditional Laboratory/shop.
La Nicchia expresses the value of their Island through an image and a name that call to mind something to be preserved with care and dedication “La Nicchia” is not offering the Island’s typical products but a selection of the best raw materials from their lands, processed by the simplest methods and being respectful of their uniqueness.
